Dr. Bowen now lives and works in San Diego, California when he is not off exploring and teaching in different parts of the world. His last teaching trip was in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Kingdom of Bhutan where he was invited to share an integrative narrative therapeutic intervention (Story Meditation) with the only university in Bhutan that teaches psychology at the inception of their psychology program (the only psychology program in Bhutan was only one year old at the time). Learning is always a two way street and Dr. Bowen also learned about Mindfulness Meditation here in the foothills of the Himalayas from the Bhutanese people.
